Kathy Accepts Trophy for Scavenger Hunt

Thursday, June 4th, 2009The girls’ team won 2nd place in the scavenger hunt at the Ocean City Convention, bringing home a nice trophy. We hope to get 1st Place next year!
The boys’ team received honorable mention for their side trip to Hooters, where the proceeded to fill in bogus answers and even got a Hooters girl’s signature.
We received kudos from the council due to the number of participants we had in the dunking booth. The booth raised a record number this year but we think having Ravens players in the booth was the real reason.
On Friday, a torrential downpour had us stuck at the Coconuts Bar at the Castle in the Sand…..with several Ravens players and Captain Dee-Fense as our captive audience.
Lastly, our very own Stacey Duvall won the 50/50 raffle for a take of $1600.
A great time was had by those of us that were there and we look forward to next year’s convention. Mark your calendars now - June 3-6, 2010.
